It’s still pleasant like the olden days, whenever the wind breezes over.

The Tuberose, your scent cuts deep incomparably.

Your irresistible fragrant makes me feel so vulnerable.

Threaded into a garland, I place you around my heart.

So your scent may linger there forever.

Side note: Thai name for Tuberose literally means “hidden/concealing scent.” Thai, like many languages, is very poetry that fills with hidden meanings; I took the liberty to add more worlds for the ease of readers to understand while preserving much of the meanings. The song is a play on words where Palmy, the songwriter, metaphorically compares the love for her ex to the flower as it conceals the pleasant fragrant like she keeps/hides her love on the inside. Tuberose also has a hidden meaning in Thai culture. The flower is a symbol of separation and farewell. It was often used in funerals.
